Charitable Contributions

I believe that what a person chooses to do with the money that comes into their life is a reflection of their values and passions. In a way we vote with our money.

One of the reasons I choose to be with RE/MAX is that they support causes I believe in.

As a company RE/MAX supports The CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK with 100% of RE/MAX UNITED agents giving either a certain amount per transaction or an annual contribution.

RE/MAX also supports the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure

A portion of every sales commission check I receive goes to fund causes I believe in.

First, my passion is children. I choose to support both positive parenting and children with a percent of each sale.

Besides participating in The CHILDREN'S MIRACLE NETWORK along with all the other RE/MAX UNITED associates, I also give to SAFEchild of Wake County

Second, as a breast cancer survivor who has two daughters, I choose to support not only The Race for The Cure but also the DUKE CANCER PATIENT SUPPORT CENTER . The help I received during my treatment there, was both life affirming and life changing, and needs to be available for the, all too many, women who will have to go through the difficult journey I've been through. So a portion of each commission check also goes to the DUKE CANCER PATIENT SUPPORT CENTER

I believe that one drop in a bucket, repeated enough times, can fill the bucket. I also believe that each vote counts, especially when it comes to "voting" with our money.

If we always choose to vote consciously and purposefully then we can make a difference in the world around us, no matter how small.

Duke Cancer Patient Support Program

The Duke Cancer Patient Support Program (DCPSP) exists to create a humanistic environment for adults with cancer, as well as their family members, during the stress entailed in diagnosis, treatment, and after-care.  Believing that patients' needs always come first, DCPSP's goal is to provide services that results in patients who feel not only cared for, but cared about.

For 18 years, DCPSP has addressed the emotional side of cancer by providing counseling, companionship, and comfort to the patients of the Duke Comprehensive Cancer Center through our team of staff and volunteers, each of whom is committed to helping patients and families cope with the impact of cancer on their lives.  We offer family and individual counseling, support groups, and self-image resources.  All services are provided without charge to families.  To learn more, visit www.cancer.duke.edu/support/.
